~ weekend in normandy {day three} ~

on our third day in normandy

we visited a place that we had dreamt about.

we had seen mont saint michel on a travel dvd

a while ago and it made our hearts skip a beat. 

it was low tide while we were there.

here are some snapshots from our visit...

when you arrive to the site

you park your car in the lot

and then have the option of being

shuttled over to the mountain

or making the trek by foot.

we decided to walk : )

it took us about an hour

and was well worth it.

this place is magical and surreal.
