- i have been very busy each day trying to get an unsurmountable list of "to-do's" completed...but the list never gets shorter. only longer. trying to catch my breath. to be honest...i am feeling pretty low. i can't seem to get anything done to my satisfaction...and all the "mundane" things we do as mothers just doesn't seem all that important right now. i mean...i KNOW they are, but i just feel like a nameless and faceless person right now. does anyone know what i mean? has your summer been as long as mine? i am sure many of you out there can relate to me...would you mind leaving me a comment if you are feeling this way...i would love to hear your thoughts. thank you dear friends!
- "Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have felt that so many times. But then my teenager will do something in public that totally surprises me - like a hug or an I love you - and its all better.
hope you rock along stronger soon

I know exactly how you feel, but you said it better than I could have. Life brings us down times, and high times, and you just sound like you're in a valley right now. The top of the mountain will come soon enough. Something great is just around the corner. It reminds me of that song we used to sing in church- "I just feel like...somethin' good is about to happen" - that's all I can remember, but it's enough. Let it be your mantra! beautiful post and picture!

Funny how I can come across your blog...not knowing you....both of us in two different places.....and you express exactly where I am in my life.....just know you are never alone.......and someone else out there "gets" how ya feel! God Bless!

Oh I so know how you feel. I've had several periods of this during this past summer and it's been very difficult to pull myself out of it. I'm praying for you my blog friend!
Blessings,
Sandy :)
