my momma and i are heading off tomorrow mornin' on a girl's roadtrip! we are traveling to columbus, ohio to attend the country living fair. lots of artists demonstrations, cooking segments, antique appraisals, music, food...and not to mention the hundreds of vendors selling their wares! sure sounds like we'll have a hootin' and hollerin' time out there in ohio!
while attending the ZNE convention a few weeks ago, i had the wonderful opportunity to meet susan hoy...the owner of this most delightful store. she and her daughter had a vendor table at the art, paper and pleasantries vendor faire held in pleasanton, california during the ZNE event. i saw hoards of women around her table plummaging through boxes and boxes of ephemera. i rushed over to see what the commotion was about. WOW is all i could say. let's just say i bought enough vintage goodness to last me a long time. the best vintage ephemera i have ever seen. all packaged up into themes. just amazing.
in speaking with susan i learned about her store in san anselmo...and i realized we would be passing right by it towards the end of our california adventure. so with our handy GPS system in hand...we punched in
239 san anselmo avenue
and away we went!
this is "indy"...the chocolate lab who guards the entrance and welcomes you into a whimsical world of imagination...
and here is shopkeeper extraordinaire, susan hoy...
please don't hesitate to visit susan and her world of treasures. you will not be disappointed. but get ready to do some heavy breathing and panting exercises. the vintage goodness is almost too much to handle. tell susan that danielle sentcha!
